A well-facilitated Design Sprint allows stakeholder alignment by clarifying objectives on day 1, offering a clear and transparent decision mechanism on day 3, which then allows prototype creation on day 4 that will be tested on the last day.

Each participant has an equal speaking time during each exercise to ensure equal opportunities. The facilitator guarantees the results of the sprint and controls the pace and succession of exercises. They generally adopt a neutral attitude towards the problem. The design sprint can be used even to solve complex, emotional or strategic issues.
