Jake Knapp is the creator of the design sprint at Google Ventures. In 2015, Steph Cruchon accidentally discovered the design sprint methodology, still in the process of being created at Google Ventures.
Jake was in the process of writing the book. Steph and Jake started exchanging ideas about the methodology before meeting at Google in San Francisco in 2017.
A friendship was born, and since then Jake has been an unwavering support to Design Sprint Ltd.
In 2025, Jake published his new book Click, showcasing a new format (pre-sprint): the Foundation Sprint. Steph Cruchon and Eglé Cruchon are featured in this book with their side startup, Genius Loci Medals.
